God has given the ability to grow and learn through Him. We will strive for excellence and call all men unto God using every viable means possible. We will keep focused with the plan of redemption for all mankind. In all humility give God the glory and praise for who we each are
II. God.
I believe in the eternal omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent and immutable triune God; maker of heaven and earth, and all that is in them; and in the unity of the Godhead there are three persons, equal in every divine perfection and attribute, executing distinct but harmonious offices, in the great work of redemption. Scripture References: I John 5:7; II Corinthians 13:14; Genesis 1:26; I Timothy 1:17.
God The Father. Scripture References: Isaiah 43:10; Isaiah 44:8; John 3:16.
God The Son. Coexistent and coeternal with the Father, who, conceived by the Holy Spirit , and born of the virgin Mary, took upon himself the form of a man; and by his becoming obedient to death , bearing the curse of sin, sickness, and sorrow, redeemed us back to God. He arose the third day and ascended to the Father, where He lives to make intercession for us. Scripture References: John 1:1-3; Matthew 1:23; I Timothy 2:5; Ephesians 2:18; Philippians 2:6-11.
God The Holy Spirit. The third person of the Godhead, coexistent and equal with the Father. Sent by the Father, through the Son, to reprove the world of sin and prepare the bride of Christ. Scripture References: John 14:26; John 15:26; John16:8.
III. The Fall of Man.
Scripture References: Genesis 1:27; Romans 5:12; Romans 5:19; Isaiah 53:6; Romans 3:10; Romans 3:23.
IV. The Plan of Redemption.
I believe that Christ was the Lamb of God, foreordained from the foundation of the world, who by the shedding of His blood on the cross, and made provision for the salvation of ALL mankind. Scripture References: I Peter 1:19-20; Isaiah 53:5; Titus 2:14; Hebrews 7:25.
V. The New Birth.
I believe that because of man's total inability to save himself, salvation is by God's grace alone; is received through sincere godly repentance and a whole hearted acceptance of Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior; through being born again, he becomes a new creature in Christ Jesus. Old things have passed away, behold all things have become new. Scripture References: John 3:3; II Corinthians 5:17; Galatians 2:20; I Peter 2:24.
VI. Daily Christian Life.
I believe that having been cleansed by the blood, and quickened by the Spirit, it is God's will that we should be sanctified daily, and be made partakers of His holiness; walking not after the flesh but after the Spirit; forsaking the very appearance of evil. Scripture References: Romans 8:1; Romans 8:5; Romans 12:1-2; II Corinthians 7:1; I Peter 1:15; I Thessalonians 5:22.
VII. Water Baptism.
I believe that water baptism by immersion, in the name of Jesus Christ and in the name of the Father, Son and the Holy Ghost, is commanded by God; that it is subsequent to conversion, that it is not a saving ordinance, but an outward sign of an inward work. Scripture References: Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:4; Acts 2:38.
VIII. The Lord's Supper.
I believe in the commemoration of the Lord's Supper as a type of the broken body and shed blood of our Lord Jesus Christ, and as an ordinance showing forth the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord, and a looking forward to the marriage supper of the Lamb. I believe that all Christian believers, regardless of church affiliation, may partake of the Lord's Supper. However, participation in this sacrament is limited only to born again believers. Scripture References: I Corinthians 11:23-28; II Corinthians 13:5; Luke 22:7-22.
IX. Spirit-Filled Life.
I believe it is the will of God that each believer should be filled with the Holy Ghost and be sanctified wholly, being separated from sin and the world and fully dedicated to the will of God, there by enduing the believer with the experience of continual renewing of the power from on high; to lead the believer into holiness and sobriety; to equip him for a practical, efficient, spirit-filled soul winning ministry and service. This is both a crisis and a progressive experience wrought in the life of the believer subsequent to conversion. Therefore it is the will of God that we walk and abide in the Spirit. Scripture References: John 14:16; Acts 1:8, 2:4, 2:38-39, 4:31; I Corinthians 3:16-17; Galatians 5:16-25; Ephesians 4:30-32, 5:18; I John 2:6.
X. Gifts and Fruit of the Spirit.
I believe that for the edification of the saints and the building up of the church of Jesus Christ, that the Holy Spirit has the following gifts to bestow upon the individual believer: the word of wisdom, the word of knowledge, faith gifts of healing, working of miracles, prophecy, discerning of spirits, and diverse kinds of tongues, and the interpretation of tongues, dividing to every man severally as He will; they should be sought by the believer and exercised in the Spirit of love. I believe that the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance; against such there is no law. These fruits should be cultivated in the life of every believer. Scripture References: I Corinthians 12:7-11, 12:31; Galatians 5:22-23; John 15:4, 15:8.
XI. Moderation.
I believe that our moderation should be known to all men. The Christian should be sober, well-balanced, and seasoned with love. His zeal should be governed by godly wisdom. Scripture References: Philippians 4:5; Ephesians 4:14-15; I Corinthians 13:5; Colossians 3:12-13.
